We are pleased to welcome 2009 Arizona HDI Regional Analyst of the Year Cindy Priester of BDO Seidman, whose presentation topic is The Untapped Power of Tier 1: In 2009, a record-breaking 31% of Tier 1 analysts quit their jobs within the first 12-18 months due to burnout. Last year employee burnout cost companies $71 billion; firms that ignore this issue will suffer. In this session, Cindy will relate how BDO tossed out the old-school traditional help desk mentality and empowered analysts to drastically change the face of their department. Told against a backdrop of varied experience at multinational companies, Cindy will address:

-Why management philosophy is so important to the success of your help desk
-How to learn to empower your staff through education and the development of self-esteem
